LUC-E, Littoral Unmanned Craft - Expeditionary
Multi-Domain Warfighting
Superior Kinematic Performance
Cyber Hardened
Overview
Swift LUC-E is a multi-domain warfighting USV designed to meet the USN Joint Warfighting Concept requirements for enhancing force protection, power projection, area denial, and anti-landing operations. It is capable of rapid response in contested maritime environments, choke points, straits, and confined seas within the CENTCOM and INDOPACOM theaters of operations. The LUC-E is extremely agile, highly survivable, and capable of high speed. Its modular and well-thought-out design ensures scalability and cost-effective solutions.
Swift LUC-E features a V-shaped, monohull aluminum design, and is a small unmanned vessel (remote or autonomous) with a low signature, muffled engine, EM shielding, and configurable special paint. It offers high speed and endurance, is equipped with a .50 cal or 7.62 (Dillon) Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS), and supports UAV/UUV/torpedo/mine payload deployments of up to 8 tons at 25 knots. A Seakeeper 2 gyro stabilizer enhances operational stability. It is available as a kit or fully assembled.

Militarized Unmanned and Minimally Manned Vessels
Swiftships design and constructs of fully autonomous military vessels, and offers commercial platform conversion to militarized unmanned/minimally manned vessels. We have developed many variants of our Fast Supply Vessels (FSVs), not only for full autonomy, but also for minimally manned or remote operations of the craft.
Our primary example is an offshore patrol vessel previously called Riley Claire (aka Nomad) that is one of two offshore vessels so far converted to autonomous operation. Nomad is being tested by the US Navy in multiple missions. It traveled from the Gulf Coast through the canal to the U.S. West Coast, a total of 4,421 nautical miles, with 98% of that distance in autonomous mode and the Panama Canal in manual mode.
