Jad Dupre has played an active role in Swiftships’ IT department for approximately five years. He began as a college intern, was hired as a Helpdesk Technician I upon graduation, and was later promoted to Helpdesk Technician II. In his role, Jad supports all Swiftships users with a wide range of needs, including computers, phones, and printers.
Over the years, he has collaborated with team members to implement several large-scale projects. Key initiatives include transitioning the company to a new VOIP phone system, achieving compliance with NIST 800-171 and later updating to 800-171 Rev 3, replacing aging network equipment with modern devices, establishing and managing IT environments for multiple new yards, and contributing to emerging technologies such as autonomous craft and dedicated computing rigs. Jad continues to play a critical role in maintaining and improving Swiftships’ IT environment, ensuring prompt resolutions and reliable solutions for personnel.
