The Swift Sting-1 (SS-1) is a Group 2 tactical loitering munition that gives ground and naval forces an organic precision strike capability at the tactical edge. Launched from a vehicle or ground rail with no runway required, it loiters for up to 2 hours and delivers a 4 kg multi-option warhead out to 100 km, with man-in-the-loop terminal guidance and full abort authority to the final seconds of engagement.
EO/IR seeker with operator-directed terminal engagement. Abort and wave-off capability preserves positive control and minimizes collateral damage.
4 kg payload configurable with HE-fragmentation, shaped-charge (anti-armor), or thermobaric warheads to match the target set.
Vehicle or ground rail launch from unprepared sites. Single-vehicle transportable, deployed and operated by a two-person crew.
2-hour endurance and 100 km reach let a single SS-1 find, fix, track, and finish targets deep beyond the forward line.
Day/night target acquisition and man-in-the-loop terminal guidance, with operator abort and wave-off authority through the final seconds of an engagement.
Feeds precise air data to the autopilot and carries the encrypted C2 and full-motion-video link, keeping the operator in control out to 100 km line of sight.
Houses the 4 kg multi-option warhead (HE-fragmentation, shaped-charge, or thermobaric) alongside the anti-jam GNSS/INS navigation suite.
A compact tandem-wing layout with endplate fins keeps span to just 1.5 m, giving stable low-speed loiter, a clean rail launch, and a footprint that fits on a single vehicle.
8-liter fuel load sustains 2 hours on station and a 100 km strike radius.
Single-cylinder 2-stroke gasoline engine in the ~50 cc class drives a rear-mounted pusher propeller for a 150 km/h cruise and a 210 km/h dash.
