Shipping Agent/Clerk


As an integral member of the Swiftships team, you will be tasked as Shipping Specialist (export).

Some of the key responsibilities for this position are listed below, but not limited:

  1. Create shipping (export) documentation per shipping rules and regulations. (Air and sea freight)
  2. Material Segregation by subcategory
  3. Physical Inspection of material for FMS and DCS Freight/Logistics, national and International
  4. Track shipments with shipping carriers
  5. Shipping documents tracking and maintaining records on share Point
  6. Review/Follow industry trends from a roll-out perspective
  7. Communicating effectively, Management, Warehouse and Accounting, as needed


  1. Education: High School Diploma
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping, export and import
  3. Understanding large-scale organization systems
  4. Knowing export shipping, costumes clearance, Domestic and International shipping processes.
  5. Managing multiple projects simultaneously


  • Partner closely with all levels of Leadership and Staff to support the business and ensure adherence to the industry-standard and best practices
  • Be a self-starter, based on directions given by Supervisor and work as part of the team of PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transport) Material Handlers to meet contract requirements
  • Understand and adhere to schedule constraints based on contractual requirements
  • Understand and comprehend priority levels of contracts as pertains to PHS&T load outs and shipments

Hard Skills:

  • Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods
  • Knowing Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel Dashboards

Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine


Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees


Ascending or descending ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized
